    GAMBARAN JUMLAH TROMBOSIT PADA PASIEN COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019)

    Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a new name given by World Health Organization (WHO) of 2019 novel corona virus infection, reported at the end of 2019 from Wuhan, China. The spread of infection occurs rapidly and creates a new pandemic threat. Etiology of Covid -19 was identified in 10 January 2020, a betacorona virus, similar with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and middle east respiratory syndrome (MERS CoV).The purpose of this study was to determine the results of hematological examinations in positive patients with Covid -19 in RS Pelamonia Tk. II Makassar. This type of research was descriptive quantative with analysis of secondary data in January 2022. The population of this study were patients with suspected Covid-19 at Tk Hospital. II Pelamonia Makassar. The sample used in this study was 100 samples. Hematology examination was carried out using a Hematology Analyzer. The results of the examination are divided into platelet values based on age, gender and value of trombosit. From the results obtained a normal value as much as 82%, low as much as 18%, while the high does not get the results of 0%.
