    PENGARUH TERAPI MADU APIS TERHADAP FASE PENYEMBUHAN PROLIFERASI LUKA DIABETIC PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II DI PUSKESMAS KAPASA KOTA MAKASSAR

    One of the severe problems of diabetic wounds is a diabetic foot ulcers. Honey contains antibiotics as antibacterial and antiseptic to protect the wound. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of apis honey therapy on the healing phase of diabetic wound proliferation. The type of research used was a quantitative method using a pre-experimental research study design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample used purposive sampling technique, namely patients with type II diabetes mellitus who met the inclusion criteria at the Kapasa Public Health Center Makassar City as many as 10 respondents. This research was conducted in January - March 2021. Based on the results of the paired t test, the value of -value = 0.000 (< = 0, 05) which means Ho is rejected and Hα is accepted so it can be concluded that there is an effect of apis honey therapy on the healing phase of diabetic wound proliferation in patients with type II diabetes mellitus at the Kapasa Makassar Health Center. It is hoped that the results of this study can increase knowledge, understanding and provide an overview of the benefits of honey on diabetic wound healing and it is hoped that diabetic patients can use conventional treatments using honey as an effort in the wound treatment process.
