Asuhankebidanan komprehensif dimana bidan sebagai tenaga profesional, memimpin dalam perencanaan, organisasi dan pemberian asuhan selama kehamilan, kelahiran, periode postpartum, termasuk bayi dan program keluarga berencana, mampu memberikan kontribusi untuk kualitas asuhan yang lebih baik (Kartika, 2017 ).
