EVALUASI TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT TENTANG PENGGUNAAN OBAT TANPA RESEP DOKTER DI KELURAHAN ANTANG KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract

Drugs without a doctor’s prescription are drugs that can be used for the puspose pf self-medication and can be purchased freely at drug stores or pharmacies. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of public knowledge about the use of drugs without a doctor’s prescription in RT.01/RW.06, Kelurahan Antang, Makassar. The type of research used is a separate strategy with a quantitative methodology which is expected to determine the of public knowledge about the use of drugs without a doctor’s prescription. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to each community. The samples taken were 74 respondents. Data from research result from evaluating the level of public knowledge about the use of drugs without a doctor’s prescription in Kelurahan Antang Village, Makassar City shows that the numberof respondents who have good knowledge is 24 (32.43%), the number of respondents who have sufficient knowledge is 34 (45.95%) and the number of respondents who have less knowledge as many as 16 (21.62%). From the statement that has been filled in by the respondent, it shows that the people of RT.01/RW.06, Kelurahan Antang, Makassar. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the results of the study indicate that the percentage level of knowledge of the community in RT.01/RW.06 Kelurahan Antang about the use of drugs without a doctor’s prescription is quite good category 34 (45.95%).
